Isabella Speedon is currently a sophomore at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana.
She was a 2014 OHS Foundation scholarship winner and her outgoing persona and achieving ways continue in her “life after Oceanside High”. Isabella made the Dean’s list both semesters of her freshman year. Spring break of her freshman year, she participated in the “2015 Nun Run”, which is an annual program that takes students to ten different convents in the Midwest, accompanied by nuns, to perform charity work.
This fall, she made the Saint Mary’s Belles golf team.
Isabella was chosen for the OHS Foundation Scholarship, not only for her strong academic achievements, but because she had been involved in the life of OHS, from sports to clubs to student government. She is a very determined person, always meeting her commitments with distinction and success. She is well liked and respected by all students, teachers and coaches. Her OHS Golf Coach Dean Baldridge has stated, while at Oceanside High, “Isabella was a great kid, and I made her Captain. Smart and hard worker, a coaches dream.”
CONGRATULATIONS ISABELLA IN YOUR ON-GOING SUCCESS!
