We are doing it again.  Applebee's will donate 15% of the bill to the OHS Foundation!  All you need to do is bring a flyer*, eat dinner and visit with Oceanside High Alumni!  Hope to see you there.

Homecoming:  According to Websters, "especially : an annual celebration for alumni at a college or university" We need to return Homecoming to it's original meaning.  We are encouraging our alumni to include their reunions with our Homecoming festivities.  Contact the Foundation and perhaps we can work together to make Homecoming with your reunion something really special.  Plus, do you have someone in your class that should be honored in our Hall of Fame, Saturday October 25, 2008?  Wouldn't that make your reunion extra special?

Class of 1978

The class of OHS/ECHS'78 30th reunion will hold a weekend reunion bash.
Starting on July 25th with the Arthur Hemingway Golf Tournament. This will be followed by a Ice-Breaker get together at TBA, One the 26th there will be beach party at Camp Del Mar- 10:00am-4:00pm then a Dinner Dance at Camp Pendleton NCO club 7:00pm-12:00am. On the 27th will be our Aloha Breakfast TBD.
Cost for the Dinner Dance has not been established. Golf Tournament is run by AFH foundation. All other events are free.

Class of 1968

Hello OHS  Class of 1968.....
    As most of you know we ARE  planning our 40th reunion and need some help.  The group of us that met  determined that having a dinner/dance was out, and having an informal get  together on Saturday afternoon (October 25th) was more in line with people’s  desires.  We are planning to combine our reunion with the OHS Homecoming  weekend and the OHS Foundation Hall of Fame Ceremony on October 24 and 25,  2008.

    We still need some help pulling this all  together.  In essence, we need some of you to take on this reunion.  Us “old  reunion horses” will be very involved in the OHS Foundation Hall of Fame and  Open House activities and are not able to do both that weekend.  We  would like to know if anyone else would be willing to  help.

        Our next meeting to plan the  reunion and for the OHS Foundation will be on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 in the  OHS Library.  Our class of 1968 will meet at 6 pm and the Foundation will  meet at 7 pm.  Please try to make this meeting, we hope for the 40th to  be a grand one!  (If you cannot make the meeting and would be willing to work, please call one of us.)
