Oceanside CA— The “Visit Oceanside” Tourism Bureau unveiled its 2017 branding campaign “O’side O’riginals” at its 7th Annual Tourism Summit held on April 18 at the city’s historic Star Theatre. Using words such as authentic, real, inventive, free-spirited and unorthodox, the campaign will focus on the unique people, places and events that give Oceanside its one-of-a-kind personality.

During the summit, Leslee Gaul, President and CEO of Visit Oceanside announced Sue Ellisor as the California Welcome Center’s Volunteer of the Year. Miss Ellisor has been volunteering for two years at the center, located on North Coast Highway in Oceanside. She has logged in more than 180 hours of volunteer hours over the year. She helps visitors from all over the US and other countries answering their questions and taking care of their requests for brochures and maps.  Miss Ellisor was a P.E. teacher during the 1970’s and 80’s.
