An Olympic Adventure!

Ben Price, (OHS Alum 1976 - HOF 2017), after a successful career at Discovery and NBCUniversal in media sales and marketing, became an adjunct professor at another of his alma maters, Pepperdine University (MBA 1986) and co-founded the Pepperdine Olympics Program, studying global broadcasting/streaming, sponsorships, advertising, licensing and the overall business of the Olympic Games. The program was launched at the Paris 2024 Summer Games and was quickly deemed one of the university’s most successful international programs. Based on students and administration reviews, it was renewed for the Winter Olympics in Milan and expanded to include the Paralympics in Cortina. “There was a quite a bit of competition in getting selected for this program. These bright and motivated, eighteen students all earned their way here. It’s a wonderful experience, yet a rigorous full semester, some students taking up to five courses, built into this term. Very exciting time, with LA28 just around the corner, for these future professionals.”
