OUSD names Employees of the Year 2020-2021

It is no surprise to the OHS Foundation that Allen Sanders, Lead Day Custodian at Oceanside High School has been named one of the school district’s employees of the year!  He has been in the Oceanside Unified School District for 30 years. At each and every event or meeting held on campus over many years, Allen has helped the Foundation arrange tables, chairs, set up, then breakdown after the event, tirelessly.  Including weekends and nights. He does this for all groups, clubs and the staff on campus.

The OUSD announced the 2020-21 Teachers and Classified Employees of the Year on April 2nd.  Each year, the district accepts nominations and selects two teachers and two classified non-teaching employees who go above and beyond in their roles.

Allen Sanders is known as a “pillar of Oceanside High.” He is devoted to all aspects of his work and demonstrates a leadership style that makes others want to work alongside him. He is warm, kind, and dear to all on the OHS campus.
