Scholarship Winner

Growing up in a single-parent household, Anika has learned the importance of being responsible, determined, and self-reliant. Her mother, a Venezuelan immigrant, worked hard to support Anika and her sister. This has led Anika to help other youth, and she played a vital role in re-establishing the Oceanside Youth Commission with the City of Oceanside. She has been accepted to a number of universities, with the goal of becoming an attorney to continue helping others.
