Scholarship Winner

While attending Oceanside High School, Cassidy discovered her passion for learning and teaching.  Exploring college options and possibilities in her AVID classes, she realized that she could attend college and began to work hard toward the goal of pursing a college degree.  Challenging herself in Advanced Placement classes, Cassidy developed a love for History and the desire to become a high school history teacher. Her Senior English teacher explains that Cassidy writes with clarity and thoughtfulness and approaches every task with a high level of commitment.  Without a doubt, Cassidy will accomplish her dream of completing a college degree to eventually teach History to high school students.
