From the moment Italia learned that stem cells can regenerate damaged tissues, she has been captivated by the realization that biological sciences can lead to healing in new ways. She plans to pursue a degree (and eventually a Ph.D.) in Cell and Molecular Biology to become a Biomedical Researcher specializing in cell tissue regeneration.
