The COVID pandemic hit Miguel and his family very hard and through this he realized the importance of helping, not only his family, but the community at large. During this time, Miguel helped to strengthen the OHS Food Pantry by distributing food to the community. Having been accepted into various UC and CSU colleges, he knows that the financial assistance will be vital for him to pursue his goal of obtaining a law degree and fulfill this dream.
