Scholarship Winner

Throughout her high school years, Penelope has been involved in various sports and activities which have helped to shape and mold the person that she is today.  Starting out as a cheerleader, she realized the importance of school involvement and spirit.  While participating in softball, she quickly rose to Varsity level as a sophomore.  Also, during her sophomore year, she competed in Oceanside’s first girls wrestling team.  Unfortunately, she was injured, but realized she needed to remain involved, so she helped with the school’s yearbook running different sports social media platforms while focusing on the Fellowship of Christian Athletes club becoming the president her Senior year.
